Our Mission and Values

As a public juridic person, Mary Aikenhead Ministries continues the mission of Jesus Christ and assumes responsibility to further the health and aged care, education and some welfare ministries of the Sisters of Charity of Australia to which Mary Aikenhead Ministries succeeds, and other ministries accepted by Mary Aikenhead Ministries.

Mary Aikenhead Ministries exists to ensure, through its governance, policies and practices, that each of the works for which it is responsible operates in conformity with the teachings, discipline and laws of the Catholic Church.

Mary Aikenhead Ministries continues to build on the charism and traditions of the Sisters of Charity of Australia.
